Rawdons Regiment will join the Marquis of Winchesters Regiment at the ruins of Basing House, which was besieged by Roundhead forces during the English Civil War and defended by the real Rawdons and Winchesters soldiers.   As well as seeing our living history, soldiers’ drill and skirmish presentations, you can explore this fascinating site and learn about its turbulent history.
